本作は、昨年Molecule Plane名義でリリースした3rdアルバム『Apocrypha』以降の断絶を補完するために制作を続けている「Fragmentary Passage」シリーズをまとめたものである。

『Apocrypha』の完成後は一息つく間もなくマスタリングの依頼や原稿の執筆、ライブ出演などが続き、その間にもプライベートスタジオの大規模な改装なども行っていたため、アルバム制作後に心を落ち着ける時間も取れないまま年末年始あたりから心身共に崩壊しかかっており（実際年明けからなかなか治らない風邪を引いたかと思えば2月終わりに新型コロナに感染した）、また作品のストックも『Apocrypha』でほぼ全部放出した状態でもあったため、手元に残っていたものが機材以外に本当に何もなかった。

その中で今一度自分のできること・できないこと、やりたいこと・やりたくないことを捉え直すために、このシリーズでは手癖のようなものを一切否定せず、手と心の赴くままに作るということをコンセプトとしている。


This work is a compilation of the "Fragmentary Passage" series, which he has been working on to complement the disconnect since his third album "Apocrypha" released last year under the name Molecule Plane.

After the completion of "Apocrypha", he had no time to catch his breath, as he was busy with mastering requests, writing manuscripts, and live appearances, and during that time he was also engaged in a large-scale renovation of his private studio. (In fact, at the beginning of the year, I caught a cold that wouldn't go away, and at the end of February, I contracted a new type of corona.) In addition, I had released almost all of my stock of works with "Apocrypha," so I really had nothing left but my equipment.

In order to reconsider what I could and could not do, what I wanted to do and what I did not want to do, I decided to create this series without denying my own habits, and to create as my hands and heart dictate.
